All grants are awarded through a random selection held immediately after the event. Each event registration includes one complimentary entry into the selection process on behalf of the applicant being supported.

The purpose of creating a team is threefold:

1. Raise Awareness – Invite friends and family to join and help spread understanding of infertility.
2. Boost Participation & Fundraising – More team members mean greater impact.
3. Increase Grant Opportunities – Each supporter’s registration includes one complimentary ticket that can be entered on behalf of your team in the random selection for a Footsteps Grant.

During registration, you’ll have the option to create a team. This is the best way to organize and track your supporters. Encourage friends and family to join together, you’ll strengthen your chances of being awarded a grant.

Don’t forget to log in, pay for, and complete our online grant application along with your race registration to be eligible for a grant. Completing the application also earns your team one additional ticket in the random selection.
